Mechanical mobile sculpture.
The world is all wound up.

The perpetual movement of our little planet within the space of Palais de Tokyo weaves in and out of visitors' paths.

Revolution is a small Earth globe that wanders around a given space. This autonomous mobile object traces revolutions and anarchic trajectories within the exhibition space.

By solliciting the attention of each viewer that it encounters, this diminutive mobile is like a hybrid between a toy and a functional object. The little sculpture made up of low-tech elements articulates a dialogue between modernity and alterity, between archaism and everyday technology. Viewers can witness with childlike wonder how the Earth never stops turning.
